Just Once More

A chain of different faces,
Calling to eachother
From a poisoned past,
Looking for God,
Seeking to be rocked to sleep
Just once more.

Mother awaits you
In arms of angels,
Saying,
"Everything will be allright, honey.",
Just once more,
Please, just once more.

You were a child
Waiting for the school bus,
Wondering,
"Will I ever come back home?"
To mommy,
To hold you and say,
"Everything will be allright."
Until the end of your life
When you wait for the school bus
Just once more.

Hard lives,
Battered boys,
Once lost but now found
By the Father
Who says,
"Your mother wants you home."
And you will go
Just once more,
Go,
Just once more.
