Edward Snowden Leaves the Lid Up

Snowden Leaves the Lid Up

Radio super-host Michael Savage recently proposed that Edward Snowden is a hero for exposing massive surveillace of the American public. I concur.

Edward Snowden has left the toilet seat up. While media industry blowhards attempt to assassinate this man’s character, we are meant to be distracted from the primary revelation of this event: that our freedoms, our interests and our very lives are being invaded by a massive disease of surveillance. All of this in the name of…well, do we really know?

Can we really use the guise of terrorist threats to justify the rape of our liberties by this government; especially this government, with its history of corruption and inexperience under Obama? This is coupled with the largest exodus of high-level military personnel in U.S. history, either by resignation or retirement. Simply knowing that liberal politics always longs for nothing less than total control of the lives of the people is enough to throw away the microscope when the writing on the wall is gigantic.

Snowden has laid naked the massive surveillance of the public by American and British governments. What could be next? It was not enough for me to simply shudder when I learned of the attendance of Google’s Chief Eric Schmidt at the meeting of the yearly meeting of the Bilderberg Group in near Athens this year. For those unfamiliar with the Bilderberg Group, it is a board of representatives of the most wealthy and influential in the world that meets every year to, more or less, decide the future of our planet…unfettered by election by any public. Knowing merely that Google is in attendance makes my digestive system quake, what with Google being the current electronic eye over absolutely everything you do on the Internet. I found this out in a very chilling way several years ago when I discovered that some very specific searches I had done on the Net had been documented by the Google search engine, while other searches were not pointed out so boldly.

How is this related? The overt and the covert, when they occur together, can give the illusion that the covert is simply a confusion of something we are supposedly used to or expected to endure for the sake of harmony. Coincidence, however, is a non-existent phenomenon. There is always a reason and intent, not always immediately apparent.

What it comes down to is this: where the secrets start, the Republic ends. Someone said that once. Haven’t been able to locate that source, but it is applicable. We are in a time of influence by so many converging factors that we could easily become blind to the hand in our pockets….or our sockets.

While we wait for this story to come to fruition, let us not rest on our laurels. While paranoia is never a healthy state, a dose is needed when the truth really is out to get you. So we are left with the choice: either drive ourselves insane with suspicion cowering over everything we do or say…or eliminate the source.
Nothing justifies this level of spying on the public.

Nothing.
